Online Reviews as a Marketing Tool for Assisted Living Communities

Most people do not fill out surveys or reviews after making a purchase.  Even the simplest questionnaires are time-consuming and tedious, bombarding consumers at every turn.  However, reviews are hugely important for dictating whether a customer will buy a product and in the case of an assisted living community – whether they’ll call or email to find out more information. At least several good reviews on rating site’s like YELP are probably more important than word-of-mouth reviews today.

Senior Service Reviews is a Business-to-Business company that will help a community monitor its online reviews. It will also compare their client’s online reputation to its competitors.  They recommend senior care communities work hard to encourage satisfied customers to write reviews on independent sites. The more reviews, the better. They recommend responding to bad reviews publicly, in the same forum where the review appeared. A sincere and specific response will improve the company’s credibility.
